Mitchell Osias

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Mitchell Osias attended New York University where he received his BA in Audio Technology. His career began as a technical engineer for the music recording studio Soundworks, where such hits as Madonna’s “Vogue” and Bobby Brown’s “My Prerogative” were created. His nights were spent as live sound engineer at NY dance club The Shelter, where he worked with such artists as Stevie Wonder and Janet Jackson.

After composing music and sound design for the Sega ride film “Megalopolice,” he transitioned into audio post production. His sound design work for Tomandandy drew his focus toward commercials and long form projects for television and film. He spent the next ten years working from New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo creating sound design for Super Bowl commercials, PBS and HBO TV shows and Japanese feature films.

His work on the award-winning Japanese animated feature “Tekkonkinkreet” earned an MPSE Golden Reel nomination. At the award show he connected with Dane Davis and Bryan Watkins and was invited to work at Danetracks on “Saint’s Row 2.” He has been collaborating with Bryan on AAA game sound design ever since.
